La prestigiosa revista The Wine Advocate propiedad de Robert Parker (gurú contemporáneo de vinos), calificó en Diciembre 2008 a los siguientes vinos de Lamadrid Estate Wines:
Wine Advocate Dic 2008
Matilde Lamadrid 2006: 92 points
The 2006 Malbec Icon was aged in 100% new French oak. It emits a brooding nose of plums, compote, violets, black cherry, and blackberry liqueur. Opulent on the palate, it is rich and layered with mouth-coating, savory fruit, impeccable balance, and 3-5 years of aging potential. Drink this outstanding effort from 2013 to 2026. JM
Lamadrid Gran Reserva 2005:90 points
The 2005 Malbec Gran Reserva is purple-colored with an excellent nose of spice box, mineral, black cherry, and blueberry. Medium to full-bodied, it has excellent richness and depth, succulent fruit, and superior length for its price point. This first-class effort will be at its best from 2010 to 2018. JM
Lamadrid Reserva 2006: 88 points
The dark ruby-colored 2006 Malbec Reserva offers a spicy, black cherry-scented perfume leading to a chunky wine with good depth, savory flavors, excellent balance, and a pure finish. Drink this excellent value over the next three years. J.M
